Associat10n is a collection of stories by the youth as they share their personal experience, an imagination or an ideal situation of home, of self, of conflict, of resolute. The story will be told in the fashion of a muti-sensory production to engage the audience exactly how the cast experiences it.

“Home” what is home?

People often mention;

“I’m going home”

or even call it;

“My secret Idaho”

or probably a place to hangout;

“Hey! Let’s chill at my pad!’

These are just words associated to home;

Some may have a perfect home and some are not

A home is a dwelling place used as a place of refuge, a permanent residence.

A safe Place!

Associat10n started with a story between two brothers and a mother that become sort of a peace maker between two brothers with totally opposite personality, enemies with the four walls of their own home. In the Love is the one that holds them together as a family.

The Second story revolves a girl relationship with a boy, it begin really sweet, but as times goes by trust is being question when rumors are heard he was never alone from the beginning and she was only a second option.

Third story, told in the style of bharatham nadiyam tells a story between a son and his father. Father is always seen as the leader of the family but what if the father himself is the terror in the family. What will become to the family?

The Last Story is about a little girl with body and image issue and confronting her own demon, herself! The society has a set of rules of what is an acceptable image, do you fit yourself into a mould or live your life as how you see fit, (pun intended)

Associat10n is also supported by a very talented young dance group Saltere Beats and a music group Cover Makers. Not forgetting the visual artist who provided the set for the show.

Merging 4 different genre, theatre, dance, music and visual into a show post many challenges but the outcome was a buffet of young talented artist which was a pleasure to work with.
